A MOST EXCELLENT RECIPE.....

Haven't posted here in ages. Got hooked up with Facebook; and, that seems to be where everyone goes to find out what I'm doing these days. I've also become interested in Pinterest these days. That place is wicked crazy with all kinds of ideas and recipes; and, I LOVE it!!! And.....so.....I've got a recipe I wanted to share on Pinterest but couldn't find the exact version that I have of it anywhere on the internet. THEREFORE.....I will now write it here and THEN pin it over on Pinterest. Only problem is.....no picture. Take my word, tho; this recipe is easy and mucho tasty! Here 'tis:
PUMPKIN PIE SPICE CAKE

Ingredients:

1 15-oz. can of pumpkin

1 ½ cup of sugar

2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

8 oz. can of Milnot

4 eggs

½ tsp. of salt

1 dry yellow cake mix (I get the buttery one)

2 sticks of melted butter

1 cup of chopped pecan pieces

1. Turn oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine pumpkin, sugar, spice, Milnot, eggs and salt. Mix thoroughly and pour into a greased 9x13 baking pan.

3. Layer (do not mix together) over the pumpkin mixture the cake mix, butter and pecans.

4. Bake for 50-60 minutes.

Fold into a large container of Cool Whip 3 Tbs. of sugar and 1 Tbs. of cinnamon. Serve with the cooled cake.
