wash clothes, dry clothes, wear clothes, wash clothes, dry clothes.....eat, wash dishes, dry dishes, eat, wash dishes, dry dishes.....changes the sheets, sleep, wash the sheets, change the sheets, sleep, wash the sheets.....pick up, dust, vacuum, pick up, dust vacuum..........Doing housework is like stringing beads on a string with no knot.

WELL, RYAN AND SHANNON (a.k.a. "Small Town Kids Make Good").....

bought a house last week. Here it is.

I think it looks like a keeper. They have a fantastic view of Birch Bay and the Canadian Rockies.

Tony and I are going to take two weeks this summer and drive out there. Should be an interesting trip. We're looking forward to it.

THIS MADE ME LAUGH.....

I was walking past the mental hospital the other day, and all the patients were shouting, "13....13....13." The fence was too high to see over, but I saw a little gap in the planks and I looked through to see what was going on. Someone poked me in the eye with a stick. Then they all started shouting "14....14....14..."

HANNAH'S HULA HOOP SKIRT.....

This needs no explanation.

SMILE AND SAY "CHEESE".....

These girls are too funny. They will use any excuse to pose in front of a camera. Of course, I'm only TOO willing to take their pictures. I don't need much of an excuse to get the camera out. While I was down there, we went on ONE ginormous shopping spree. And they wanted to pose with their favorite things they got that day. Kristin got a REAL MP3 player. One that she had been after her mother to get her but that her mom thought she wasn't old enough for. Mom.....you shoulda told me. I need to ask Kristin if her mom has downloaded some music for her.
Hannah got a dress-up outfit. There weren't many to choose from in the aisle where we were looking; but, I thought this one was pretty cute. And she did, too. Unfortunately, they didn't have it in her favorite color, purple. Fortunately, they DID have high heels in her favorite color, purple. Who cares that they don't match? NOT US!!!

Runway Magazine should be callin' us any day.

*BEAMING WITH PRIDE*.....or IF THE SHOE FITS.....

Ryan, the son-in-law, had his car shipped from Texas to Bellingham and when it got to Bellingham, it was dropped off at a tow company so that they could store it and then come and pick him up when he got into the airport. So, Ryan flies into Bellingham, calls the tow company and they come to pick him up. On the way back to drop the gentleman off at the tow company, the man says to Ryan, "I just have to ask you one thing. What kind of big shot (my emphasis) gets his car shipped all the way from Texas to Bellingham, WA and then gets picked up at the airport with his car? The guys in the office (at the tow company) had a bet going. Some of us thought you were some big shot (my emphasis) with customs moving up here while some of the others thought you must be some big shot (my emphasis) at one of the oil refineries up here." Ryan then replies, "Well, I guess it's the latter." :-)

AUNT SHANNON MADE.....

a headband for Tylie and sent it home with me. Here she is modeling it. (I had to cut Papaw out of this picture.....he had his eyes closed!!) Papaw says he thinks her hair is turning blonde. I don't think so.....let's vote. Who thinks blonde and who thinks red??
Here's a good one of Ty and Papaw. And I just realized.....there's a picture of her dad on the fireplace back behind them. That's Willie's senior picture.
She loves her headband, Aunt Shan!

I'VE STILL GOT.....

enough pictures from Texas for two or three more posts. I've also got some pictures from my brother's trip to Orange County, New York (hint, hint) that I hope will be an interesting read. Keep checking back.....
